Villa Lulito

Villa Lulito is a 4-bedroom luxury villa rental situated in the heart of Seminyak in a small private cul-de-sac and is a one-minute walk from the beach and less than a three-minute walk from Ku De Ta. Seminyak is a perfect location for both day and night lovers alike and most tourist activities such as rafting, sailing or scuba diving include a pick up service direct from the villa. Seminyak is a stylish shopper`s paradise, as international fashion designers choose Bali to produce and showcase their latest collections. Small boutiques are interlaced with cafes throughout the area, which light up at night to host dinners and drinks at the island`s hippest hangouts.

Villa Lulito is able to accommodate six adults in master suites and four children in the children`s suite; however additional beds are available on request or changed to an eight adults in master suites configuration on request.

Villa Lulito itself is set on 1,000.00 square meters of land and includes four living, dining and sleeping pavilions that are centered on a stunning pool. Reflecting its ocean-side location, the villa has quite a nautical feel to it with cobalt blue entrance doors and wooden awning, plus a sail like canopy over the terrace area creating a shady spot to relax when swimming.

Around the pool are several semi open-air living and dining areas with comfortable lounges and several dining spots, including a large family dining table set against comfortable banquette style seating. The modern open plan kitchen and dining areas lend themselves to relaxed al fresco dining experiences. Culinary delights can be served via the Smeg oven and chilled wine is always available from the bank of Boretti refrigerators and coolers.

A circular table with rattan chairs makes for a super spot to soak up the morning sun over breakfast and a large deeply cushioned sofa acts as a wonderfully cozy area in which to while away an hour or two. A stand-alone relaxation pavilion, complete with oversized rattan loungers is the perfect place to enjoy some post dinner relaxation with a glass of wine in hand, or to experience a heavenly foot massage whilst catching up on some holiday reading!

The two-storey sleeping pavilion includes two spacious master suites on the lower level, complete with large en-suite bathrooms. The upper level has been designed with families in mind and is comprised of two spacious bedrooms, each with their own large en-suite bathrooms, divided by a centralized dressing room that is perfect for storing all holiday kaftans and sarongs. Sliding doors enable the whole of the upstairs to open into one large area or alternatively remain closed to retain separate bedrooms and total privacy. Enter the children`s room through a sliding door to two sets of specially designed bunk beds, complete with reading lights and fun cushions. The children`s room can be configured into the 4th master suite.

Architecture
Designed by Stuart Membery, a well known Australian residing in Bali, Villa Lulito`s architecture and interiors have been heavily influenced by the Old Dutch Colonial style villas still evident in places such as Singaraja, (Indonesia`s former colonial capital) and in and around the coffee-growing hills of Munduk. The vision was to create a stunning plantation style setting that was comfortable and exuded old style chic. They envisaged singular island elegance with white on white interiors and bursts of color as seen in cushions and artwork, fitting their brief of ``Ralph Lauren meets Indonesia``.

A spacious swimming pool works as a lap pool by day and transforms into a dramatically lit central feature by night, sparkling with blue and white LEDs, surrounded by tropical border plants and hurricane lamps that altogether create a charming ambiance throughout the villa. A touch of European elegance adds to Villa Lulito`s charm with classical columns set around deep verandahs and large windows, maximizing Bali`s wonderful tropical sunlight.

Careful thought went into all materials used in construction, for example the use of ironwood on decking and roof tiles, which ages into a lovely soft grey over time. Local materials were used wherever possible. Tongue and groove paneling and balustrades, carved from local Bankerai wood, helped to create the boathouse feel and the perimeter walls were built using rugged local Bukit stone.

Interiors are pristine white. Lounges covered in off-white linen with splashes of color seen in scatter cushions. Rattan lounges and stunning bamboo beds add to the relaxed Asian ambiance with Dutch East Indies travel posters and watercolor illustrations completing the look.

In addition to the superb architecture and interiors, Landscape Gardener Bruce Johnson has created a spectacular array of tropical plants bordering the property, which bloom into a kaleidoscope of colors under the tropical heat!

Location
Villa Lulito is set right in the heart of the Oberoi Seminyak area and is a one-minute walk from the beach. The Villa embraces plantation style elegance at its best. Accommodation
Villa Lulito is a 4-bedroom luxury residence with spacious sleeping quarters capable of accommodating six adults in three master suites and four children in bunk beds. The children`s bedroom is able to be configured into a fourth master suite.

The Sleeping Pavilion
This shuttered Colonial style sleeping pavilion houses four bedrooms suites, all featuring spacious en-suite bathrooms.

Master Suites 1 and II
These two ground level master suites each include a large Queen sized bed made of dark glossy bamboo with mosquito netting elegantly draped over the frames, and a rattan colonial style chest at the foot of the bed. Antique style drawers, side tables, Indonesian art and illustrations complete the romantic feel of the suites. The en-suites include sink basins with large circular mirrors, toilets and shower rooms with rainwater showers.

Master Suite III
The upper level master suite is super spacious, housing a King sized bed and framed with a white mosquito net. The en-suite hosts a sink basin, shower room, toilet and a free standing bathtub. To the right of the suite is a huge walk in wardrobe area, which is adjoined by the children`s suite. The entire upper tier can be made into one large walk through suite simply by sliding back the doors, allowing parents to enjoy as much interaction with their children as they desire.

The Children`s Suite
The owners designed this room with comfort, safety and fun in mind. Two sets of bunk-beds are built into the wall, and to brighten the room you will find fun cushions. An en-suite includes toilet, shower and sink with child steps and suction matting included.

Master Suite IV (children`s suite reconfigured)
The children`s suite is able to be changed into a fourth master suite, large Queen sized bed made of solid teak with mosquito netting elegantly draped over the frames, Indonesian art complete the romantic feel of the suite. The en-suite includes sink basins with large circular mirrors, toilets and shower room with rainwater shower.

Facilities
Villa Lulito is fully staffed with a Villa Manager, Housekeepers and a Private Chef. Pool cleaners, Gardeners and Security make up the rest of Villa Lulito`s friendly and capable team! Service is exemplary, allowing guests to relax, sit back and enjoy!
